What a night to remember!

Sometimes speaking your truth can be scary but on Thursday night I spoke my truth, and I was greeted by an amazing reaction. For far too long young girls just like me have had their dreams shattered.

Today we launched our report, “Inspiring a Generation?”, which looks at the legacy of the Euros win to date in the lives of teenage girls who live in cities.

It’s an issue bro. The opportunity is there for a few minutes then snatched away because our hair’s different or were too “rude”.

I’ve spoken to so many black girls about it & it’s heartbreaking.
