Hello, I'm DS Johnson Mills, author of Choosing Me and Choosing Love. Have you had a chance to read my books? I would love to get some feedback about what you thought, what worked for you, maybe what didn't work. When I set out to write, I had no idea where the journey was going to take me. I didn't set out to write a romance novel, but that is effectively what happened. I didn't even know what genre it would fit into because of all the back backdrop with the family drama and Toby's dilemma.

I basically just wanted to write about life and obviously in life, love happens, sex happens, conflicts, you know, sibling rivalry. I just wanted to put it all down. One of the things that I think that I struggled with was how to put it down on paper so everyone reading it would be able to interpret what it is exactly that I'm trying to say.

So this is your chance to tell me, how did you feel when you read my books? Did you enjoy it? Was there not enough suspense for you? What do you think about the ending of book one and the ending of book 2? I mean, for me, that's not where the story ends, but I would just like to know what do you think so far are? "I received this book as a Goodreads giveaway so first thank you to the author and Goodreads. This was a high 4.75 . I typically do not give a synopsis in my reviews since the author and a million other reviews provide those.

Here's how the book made me feel. Slow start which didn't grab my attention like I thought it would. However, it really picked up. I'm not a normal 'romance' reader but this book had a good amount of the romancey storyline. It didn't put me off. I thought I knew the twist in the novel about halfway through which I thought would be an interesting twist, but it didn't happen. I'm not going to share that since it might be a spoiler.

The ending was good but somewhat abrupt. However, maybe this author left it that way to develop a follow up. I hope so since this was a great read.

Ms. Johnson-Mills, please consider furthering this story line. You could easily develop the storyline in so many interesting directions. I appreciate your hard work in writing this novel. Much appreciated."
