A CAPF commander was seen assuring the people of West Bengal not to be afraid, stating that 1,000 companies of CAPF will remain in the state even after the assembly elections to ensure peace and maintain law and order.
“Do not fear anyone. Vote freely.”
What kind of tragedy has befallen West Bengal when its own state forces have completely lost the trust of the people, and Central forces are forced to step in and reassure the public: “Don’t be scared of the goons”?
More power to the resilient people of West Bengal - the state that once led India in education, culture, industry, and intellect.
Rise again.

Do you know which state assembly has the largest women’s representation as of April 2026?
Chhattisgarh leads with 21% women MLAs - the only one crossing 20%.
Top 3 states:
Chhattisgarh (21%)
Tripura (15%)
Jharkhand (14.8%)
These women got elected on merit & party tickets - no legislative reservation at assembly level yet.
Nationally we’re stuck at 9%. The Women’s Reservation Bill (33% quota) was passed in year 2023 but still awaits Census & delimitation.
But the 33% quota is unlikely to take effect before 2034 (after next Census + delimitation).
Will the 33% quota change the game? What’s your take?
@_PVRCinemas@PicturesPVR Dhurandhar is easily one of the best movies in recent years, but the hour-long ads in the middle ruined the entire experience. It was extremely disappointing and messed up the whole theatre experience. #Dhurandhar
