Seeing how the common con and most asked question was the head area and color palette...
im beginning to think pixel/ mini chibi artist had an issue with the color palette and icon artist couldnt make out the detail for DIGI head ...even tho I provided details

Can you describe DIGI?:
- Monochrome base
- Skin color is #FBFBFB
-Hair is jumbo locs with curly colored ends
- those 3 dots are freckles
- the line above her nose is not a scar .. it how i draw nose bridges
- design on her headband/scarf are punctuations marks ( !,''.:?;' )

Suggestions:
- make a textureless high res reference with front, back and side profiles
- include a color palette chart
- add detail info to help artist with vision

Based on the feedback: (thank you)
- design ok but the HEAD area is hard to read.
- artist are afraid with a greyscale/ monochrome palette
- the ref res is too low to show details needed
- should look for an artist who specializes in greyscale
- eyedropper nightmare
