Earlier this evening, (~6:20pm) Montgomery County Police were called out to the area of Frederick Road and Shady Grove Road for the report of a rape.

The victim was found at a tow shop on the unit block of Fedor Ave, where Montgomery County Fire & Rescue Services were called out at 6:22pm.

A countywide BOLO/lookout was placed for a suspect in a gray Toyota Camry; other information remains limited despite requests for more details. #MoCo

ASSAULT NEAR WOOTTON HIGH SCHOOL INVOLVING 20 SUSPECTS ON MOPEDS: “On May 14, 2026, at approximately 11:52 a.m., officers from the Rockville City Police Department responded to the area of Wootton Parkway and Rockshire Place for a reported assault in progress.

Upon arrival, officers located a juvenile male suffering from serious injuries. The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment and is currently recovering.

At this time, the victim has been unable to confirm the circumstances surrounding the incident and has been uncooperative with investigators. Witnesses reported that a group of approximately 20 males on mopeds assaulted the victim with a blunt object before fleeing the area. Investigators believe the offenders are from areas outside of the City of Rockville.

Although this incident occurred in close proximity to Wootton High School, there is no evidence that the assault stemmed from anything related to the school, and no students were involved in the incident. The Rockville City Police Department had an officer assigned at Wootton High School at the time of the assault and responded immediately due to the close proximity. We want to reassure the community that there was no threat to students or staff at the school.

Detectives are actively investigating the circumstances surrounding this assault and ask anyone with information to contact the Rockville City Police Department at 240-314-8938. Witnesses may remain anonymous.”

A juvenile has been taken to the hospital with serious injuries after he was jumped outside of Wootton High School in Rockville, Maryland 🚨

The approximately 15 year-old boy was reportedly both kicked and hit in the head and leg with a stick near Wootton Parkway and Hurley Ave at ~12pm. He sustained serious but non life-threatening injuries, to include an open wound to the skull.
