"Somewhere not cold! Got it!" He flailed around the console, flipping random switches and Levers.
He glanced at the monitor once they landed.
"Ahh! The beaches of Beta 7. Don't give anyone a handshake Clara, they take great offense to it."

"Brilliant! Fancy a trip in the TARDIS? Somewhere.... Cool?" He asked.
To be honest he'd set the settings on random. They could end up literally anywhere.

She was very successful in her attempt.
He immediately fell outside the box, falling in front of her flat on the ground, staring directly up at her.
"What an entrance! I love it! Do you want to go to the moon. About 500 years from now?"
Queue that wheezing groaning sound the TARDIS makes that everyone loves.
That familiar blue box appearing across the street.
The wooden door creaks open and his head pops out.
"Clara?!" He calls.
Where is Clara?
"Because its delicious. Believe me, it took a while to figure out that fish fingers and custard was what I needed"
Queue flashback to a very confused seven year old Amelia Pond.
“How can you like fish custard?”
Her nose scrunched up a little as she popped a chip into a mouth.
“Mmm these are gorgeous!”
She hummed out.
"More for me!"
He happily ate away, having a good time just devouring the whole plate. By the time he was finished, he had a custard mustache and beard.
"Mmmm. Fish fingers and Custard. The. Best."
“Nah, I’ll pass thanks.”
Shaking her head, she held up a bag of chips.
“Much prefer chips myself.”
Sitting down at the table, she got them out of the bag.
Queue a big, absolutely delighted grin on his face.
"Ahh yes! Just what I needed!" He took the bowl eagerly and began to happily dig in.
"Want some?" He asked, mouth full of custard.
The way her smile fell. He narrowed his eyebrows and got a little closer to her.
"Are you someone from my future?" He asked, getting excited.
Oh he loved wibbly timelines.
... That's always the last thing she needs to hear. But it was bound to happen at one point or another.
"I... Uhm... My name's Evie."
She tries to say so as normally as possible.
His mouth drops open, completely offended. He points his fingers at her.
"They are cool! Who are you anyway?"
"No! No they're not!"
She's giggling wildly at him. She hates fezzes and wishes beyond belief he had a better dress sense, but he can make her laugh more than anyone else can.
"And neither are bowties!"
"But why not? Fezzes are cool!" He defended, pointing his finger.
He pouted.
She giggles. He's embarrassing, but in a good way.
"No! Not the fez!"
"Beachy Clothes. Sunglasses. Swimmy clothes. Etcetera" He spoke. He was excited, genuinely.
"Come on" He pulled her along down the corridor towards the wardrobe. He had to find an outfit too.
"But pokings fun" He pouted, messing with the sunglasses. Top of the head? Clipped to the shirt? On his nose?
"Should I wear a fez?"
Just... jumps.
"Scuse me! No poking please!"
"Amelia" he began. He only said Amelia when he was worried. Ope. He always worried.
"I won't leave you. Our timeline is a bit wibbly wobbly, what did you and I do last?"
“Sounds amazing!”
Stepping inside of the TARDIS, she skipped towards the console.
“Promise me, you won’t leave me again? I need your word.”
Never gonna happen!
He was bored.
Being bored and the Doctor were not a good combination.
He pokes the TL
"HElllooooo? Anyone ther"
"How bout the biggest fireworks display in the whole galaxy?" He asked, returning said grin.
He led her in the direction of the TARDIS, happily skipping along.
“I’ve missed you, Raggedy man!”
A huge grin formed upon her features as she happily takes the balloon.
“Surprise me!”
Stairs, past the bins. Fifth door on your left"
"Yes!" Queue big happy grin as he practically danced around the console, stopping and folding his arms when they landed. He was beaming.
