My totally unverified, possibly wrong conspiracy theory:

The original plan? The Rock vs Cody at WrestleMania, with Cody turning heel so Rock could be the babyface. Cody and Triple H shut it down. The Rock bows out, citing "scheduling conflicts."

Then he returns, pitching the heel Cody idea again, but this time he sells his soul to The Rock. Triple H still says no.

So Triple H offers a twist.... John Cena sells his soul to The Rock instead. The Rock says fine.

And then? He ghosts everyone. Creative is left in Triple H’s hands, and The Rock walks away feeling like no one really heard him.

Could be 100% wrong. Just connecting red strings on a corkboard. 😂🤣
