And that's the story. We took a couple years out of our life and gave up on having money or status or any kind of feeling of accomplishment to be indie musicians. Just for the sake of exploring life and making art. And I can tell you it's 100% worth it and fuck the system.

The non-success story of ephequé.

We met in Hanover, Germany when we were about 20 and started doing music as much as we could. We all had some type of minimum wage jobs and were studying so we just filled up the little remaining time we had with making music together.

... we had ✨time✨. We had enough time to get bored and just play. Not just with instruments, I also mean playing as in doing something for the sake of doing it. With no achievement whatsoever connected to the activity.
