Remember in 98 when Lauryn Hill wrote this amazing, empowering hip hop bop for Momma #ArethaFranklin, and then had a star studded super meaningful late 90s vibe video to support her album?
Yeah, never forgot.
@lilstew92 hes cute and smart but if hes not worshipping you for the mensa goddess you are, move on. or at least keep others in the visuals. this is 35 year old you telling you to enjoy yourself. lol.
@lilstew92 I'm getting there. I need more discipline with my bass guitar. And yes. Your big sister is suggesting you get your hoetation up asap. A diverse harem of dudes for you to choose from.
@lilstew92 you can recollect the hoetation if you need to. dont worry about that. and sis. "its better to be busy than to have nothing going on". you didnt have to sub me in my break up like this
Swear to Music Jesus. @MissyElliott's Supa Dupa Fly gets played monthly in my household. Weekly. I just played Sock It To Me and aggressively rapped every word in @SoSoBrat's verse. This album is so important.
I understand Robert Glasper being very upset with Lauryn Hill over her lack of artistic integrity in regards to "Miseducation". We all remember Lauryn being sued (and losing) for not crediting musicians correctly back in '01.
But something about this feels rooted in misogyny.
