Men are really So Important. The older I get, the more I recognize the value of masculine structure. Men fix things, bring stability, bring logic when emotions are high, protect us, help map out a solid game plan when we’re lost. They bring a type of balance and support that just hits different. Good and intentional men don’t always get the credit they deserve❤️.
May God bless all the Good men out there.🙌
If someone recommends you for something, they put their integrity and sometimes their relationship with that person or organisation on the line.
It is important that you deliver.
The wisdom to handle disagreements without burning bridges, the patience to give others grace as they grow, the grace to be a true light in my generation, God bestow upon me richly.
HR warned a Gen Z employee that leaving exactly at 5pm every day shows “lack of dedication.” The next day the guy stayed until 6pm. At 6:01 he walked into HR’s office and asked where to submit the overtime form. HR told him it wasn’t paid overtime. The Gen Z guy went back to leaving at 5pm.
Jesu ni Balogun oko,
(Jesus is the Captain of the ship,)
Ẹ má ṣe jẹ́ ká fọ́yà;
(Let us not be afraid;)
Olùtókọ̀ wa ni Jesu,
(Jesus is our navigator/pilot,)
Yóò mú ọkọ wa gúnlẹ̀.
(He will bring our ship to shore.)
I was watering my mum’s plants today and remembered this truth:
Your mind is a garden.
What you water grows.
What you ignore doesn’t stay empty.
It still produces something.
