Today and always I stand with women. I stand with BIPOC women who will be impacted by this decision the most. Men: we cannot be silent or think this doesn’t impact us. EVERYONE deserves the right to make decisions about their own body, their healthcare and their futures.
Today, the Supreme Court not only reversed nearly 50 years of precedent, it relegated the most intensely personal decision someone can make to the whims of politicians and ideologues—attacking the essential freedoms of millions of Americans.
Happy Juneteenth!
Freedom came to the slaves of Galveston, Texas on June 19th, 1865 marking the beginning of independence for black Americans.
There is still a long way to go but today is about celebration. Here’s to uplifting and educating the community! #juneteenth
Today we celebrate #Juneteenth.
We encourage our fans to use today as both a celebration for the progress made + a reminder of the work still needed to be done.
To understand our world today, we must reflect on the past.
These educational modules encourage inclusive dialogue on the lesser known stories of the Black American experience and its impact on American culture, economy and society: https://t.co/vBtReIbdSm
