When I came 40 years ago from Greece I didn't go about telling Aussies how to be Aussie or that their culture didn't exist !! I was grateful that they accepted me to this great country they created.
I understand that this woman may not speak for all immigrants, but this trend of questioning Aussie culture is nonsense. Aussie culture and more broadly Western Culture has a rich history in arts, tradition and religion dating back thousands of years and our Australian culture is an extension of that ancient Western culture which still exists today.
It is clear that Australian history and western culture is no longer taught in schools anymore and now we see the fruits of that experiment.
Prime example why I do not watch the ABC.
Two community offices targeted in a matter of days.
What’s the actual plan to keep public-facing offices safe without walling them off from the public?
BREAKING: POLITICAL VIOLENCE ESCALATES, DAYS AFTER MP HELEN HAINES HAD BOTH LEGS SEVERED IN A “TARGETED” OFFICE ATTACK, A 56YO MAN STORMED WA LABOR MP HANNAH BEAZLEY’S OFFICE ARMED WITH NUNCHUCKS AND THREATENED HER STAFF.
Police say the man entered Beazley’s Victoria Park electoral office on Albany Highway around 1:15pm Wednesday, made verbal threats while carrying nunchucks, then was arrested in Bentley.
No injuries. No charges yet. Staff left shaken. Beazley wasn’t there.
This comes just days after Independent MP Helen Haines was hit multiple times by a LandCruiser outside her Wangaratta office. Her husband says she has lost both legs.
Driver Brendan Nugent, 43, faces charges including intentionally causing serious injury and harming a Commonwealth public official. Police say it was targeted.
Two attacks on Australian MPs’ offices in days. One with a 4WD. One with nunchucks.
Australia, when did this become normal?
A year on, seven charged over an alleged machete attack by four carloads of people. How do groups like this form and arm up without anyone stepping in, and what should change before the next one?
Seven young males have been charged over the savage killing of an African man who was allegedly hacked to death by four carloads of machete-wielding thugs in Melbourne last year.

The French riots were presented as students protesting about schools, but the footage shows shops being emptied. When the coverage and the footage don’t match, who’s getting the story wrong, and how would we report it if it happened here?
Deeply concerned about the state of France’s education system, Paris youths console themselves by beating the rush for some early Christmas ‘shopping’

A man allegedly tried to fly out of the country after a fatal shooting and was stopped at the airport. How close did he come to getting away, and how do we make sure suspects can’t slip out?
BREAKING: A migrant has been arrested at Sydney International Airport attempting to flee the country after fatal gangland style shooting.
A 37 year old migrant has been intercepted by detectives at Sydney International Airport on Wednesday morning while trying to escape Australia.
The arrest follows a major investigation by State Crime Command’s Homicide Squad and Parramatta detectives under Strike Force Karlgarin.
About 11pm emergency services were called to Bounty Place, Old Toongabbie, where a Toyota Prado was found alight. State Crime Command’s Homicide Squad, working with Parramatta Police Area Command, set up Strike Force Karlgarin to investigate the fatal shooting.
Following extensive inquiries, detectives arrested the 37 year old man at Sydney International Airport on Wednesday morning as he tried to leave.
He was refused bail and was due to appear before Bail Division Court later that day.
The investigation under Strike Force Karlgarin remains ongoing.
This is the pattern.
Commit a serious crime, burn the vehicle, then try to disappear overseas.
How many more times will this happen before Albo turns off the tap and slow down immigration?
An MP has lost both legs, and the debate has already moved on to new online powers. Shouldn’t we know what drove the attack before deciding which law would have stopped it?
Disgusting, opportunistic gaslighting by the Australian Left. As we've seen elsewhere instead of reflecting on the violence that's been increasingly normalised on their side, they use an attack to push for greater censorship/control. Gross.
A document questioning an MP’s integrity was reportedly written on a government system and passed around weeks before she was attacked. Should taxpayer-funded staff ever be producing material like this, and who signs off on it?
ALBANESE REFUSES TO APOLOGISE OR EXPLAIN WHY HIS OFFICE COMMISSIONED A DIRT FILE ON HELEN HAINES.
After Helen Haines was attacked outside her office, Anthony Albanese spent days lecturing Australia about “turning the temperature down” and calling for more respectful politics.
He even described her as “much admired” and full of “integrity.”
What he won’t do is explain, or apologise for, the secret dirt file his own office circulated questioning that same integrity.
The document, edited by his Deputy Director of Communications Joshua Lloyd, cast doubt on whether Haines had received wine or gifts in exchange for donations and questioned her funding requests for her electorate.
It was sent out before the attack.
When News24 put the dirt file to him, Albanese did not deny his office created it. He refused to say whether he authorised it.
He refused to explain it. He refused to apologise.
Instead he pivoted to empty praise and deflected to the Coalition.
This is the Prime Minister who has positioned himself as the adult in the room on political tone, while his office was running the exact opposite play.
No accountability. No explanation. No apology.
Just more of the same from Albanese.
Ricky Jefferies saw a neighbour being attacked horrifically and ran towards mortal danger to try to save her life, without any regard for his own safety. Ricky is the best of us.
Around 6,000 veterans are reportedly homeless while defence sites sit empty. Why is it up to private donors to house the people who served, and what’s stopping those sites from being used?

Gina Hancock helping our homeless veterans, opens the Len Waters Apartments in Brisbane ..

Around 6,000 Australian veterans are homeless. As of last night, more of them have somewhere safe to call home 🏡
The Len Waters Apartments opened in Brisbane, honouring Warrant Officer Len Waters, the only Aboriginal fighter pilot to serve in the Royal Australian Air Forceduring WWII, flying 95 missions in the South West Pacific.
The doors were opened by his daughter, Di Russell, alongside Ben Roberts-Smith VC MG and Daniel Keighran VC.
Mrs Rinehart’s message was plain: a $200 million private commitment is the largest of its kind in Australia, and on its own it is still not enough.
Underused defence facilities sit empty while veterans sleep rough. Veterans who want to work are penalised for doing so.
Housing is the foundation. Open the barracks. Let veterans work and keep their pensions. Nothing less will do.

Rioters told a French woman on video that she deserved to be raped. They said that rape was just “collateral damage” for the revolution.
We desperately need a full English translation of this please if anyone can help
An MP was allegedly targeted outside her own electorate office, a place any constituent can walk into. How do we keep these offices open to the public and keep the people inside them safe, and what should change after this?
BREAKING: An extremist Palestine supporter just carried out Australia's first attempted political assassination in thirty years.
Radical left-wing terrorist and Houthi supporter Brendan Nugent rammed independent MP Helen Haines with his car, shattering her lower body and critically injuring her. She will probably lose both her legs and could still die of critical injuries.
Pray for Helen's recovery. She is actually a progressive MP who spoke out for Gaza, yet the crazy terrorist still targeted her.
