فرزانه ساسانی‌پور، مادر ۴۲ ساله دو فرزند، شامگاه ۱۹ دی‌ماه در کوه‌چنار نه در حال اعتراض، بلکه در حال کمک به مجروحان و افرادی بود که بر اثر گاز اشک‌آور دچار مشکل تنفسی شده بودند با تیرجنگی به گردنش کشته شد.

او برای نجات جان یک شهروند از خانه خارج شد، اما تک‌تیرانداز مستقر بر بام ساختمانی مشرف به محل، گلوله‌ای به گردنش شلیک کرد. گلوله شاهرگ او را پاره کرد و به قلبش رسید.

فرزانه ساسانی‌پور برای نجات جان دیگران رفت و خودش قربانی شد. امروز دخترش عسل و پسر کوچکش سام، با روایت مادرشان اجازه نمی‌دهند نام او فراموش شود
