A good pv doesn't make a song popular. Using Teto also doesn't make a song popular. It's all down to the algorithm, newer fans rarely look up songs and just expect to see it in their recommendations.
the vocaloid PV discussion becomes quite fruitless once you realize that this is a fanbase that historically gets their music from video sharing sites. of course good music videos matter
LRT: It once again serves as a reminder that the vast majority of vocaloid media is self-published, and of course the curse is not everyone can afford to put their music on major platforms like Spotify. Music videos become so essential in promoting those songs.
Hmmm I've got mixed feelings about this. Part of me is saying it's ruining the point of the original but another part of me likes the response idea of the song.

This twt comment limit is so bad.
This is such a wild take to me, you are in the vocaloid community. We support artists and hate theft. Producers are indie, let them make a profit but selling remixes of their songs.
@_FireDoggo_@Lemonade_P925 There's no rules to reuploading ๐ญ Uploading an original song from a cd is just as taboo as uploading a remix/edit from a cd and claiming that you need to buy is lowkey classist and anti art ๐ญ music is a form of art and therefore should be accessible to EVERYONE
@vocastats There's also a self cover of this but I'm semi gatekeeping it because I used to give out the red pen self cover and the comments are just things like
Did you know he died 30 minutes after making this.
You can find the cover if you look, I would rather someone puts in effort to
I hate to say what I'm gonna say, but some have been whining and being insufferable to Young Girl A losing to Mesmerizer.
People forget how this song got popular (through short form content and edits unlike Mesmerizer) and also reduce their view of this song as "siinamota died."
