@royermattw I'd rather have a nice looking reflecting pool for the 250th than money sent to the middle east for gender studies where they stone gay people to death. Hope this helps.
@vollerEkel The argument was never that the economy sucks. Its that ordering door dash and eating out constantly is going to make a bad situation, worse. Stop stretching the narrative.
@sladesfreedom2@Amyisthebomb No one thinks that. It's gen z that is arguing that none of them own homes while being terminally online to complain about everything instead of doing anything about it.
@Arrekisu@Amyisthebomb If "illegals" make up all that work force, just who are you going to hire to facilitate your needs? Are you checking papers at the door? Don't be an idiot.
@HakureiRyan The whole argument is not that you shouldn't eat out. The point is to be fiscally responsible. So if you find a way to eat out AND save even more money, its a win win. Its the people who door dash and overpriced McDonald's meal for 27 dollars then complain cause they are poor.
@Corbienest They argue that stuff is getting more and more expensive. Like, no shit. So you are going to make it worse by ordering door dash and constantly eating out? When I moved out at 18 (durng the financial crisis), I survived on pb and j, Ramen, and canned soup for a year and a half...
@Gemthemaverick Are you retarded? This isn't even the point of the original post. The point has never been "everything has gotten super expensive". The point is, if you get door dash and eat out 5 times a week, you are making an already difficult situation worse.
@NoNameGirl8686 The whole original argument keeps getting skewed. The point is, ordering food from doordash because you are too lazy is unsustainable *especially* in a turbulent economy. I go to dozens of concerts every year and they are packed with older teens and people in their early 20s fwiw
