Right girls and boys, we have a bit of a problem. We haven’t been able to get visas for Algeria, and if we don’t get them, then it’s game over for project africa.

I’ve been running now for 278 days, covered nearly 12,000km through 13 countries and raised over £140k for charity in my attempt to become the first person ever to run the entire length of Africa. But right now all of that is totally hanging on whether we can get permission from Algeria to let us cross in through this border with Mauritania.

Day 60 of running the entire length of Africa. So far I’ve ran over 3000km. This is my progress on the map. 1 day at a time🫡

Biggest distance of the mission so far. Proper tired. My coffin sized bed in the top corner of the van never looked so damn good. Just yamming 1kg yoghurt pot before I get stuck into it.

Had a weird moment today where I was thinking yeah, fully just out here stomping through rural Angola. I didn’t even know this country existed a few years ago.

Now here I am, look to my left see kids no older than 4 grafting on the farms. Look to my right see insects the size of my fist running the gaff. Ain’t in Worthing no more🤣

Signal still playing silly games with me. Boys drove to a cell tower to upload the YouTube vid tonight. A lot goes into putting them together. Big up everyone that goes over to watch🤝
