@realAvaHarper Hard question SG1 because it’s SG1, Atlantis was new stories in a new galaxy; and I really enjoyed Universe and thought it was cancelled too soon.
@BaronDestructo@PrimeVideo I think it comes from during the original run it always seemed to be a will they, won’t they get another series. At the time social media was in its infancy and now we can all pull together
@AmazonMGMStudio@PrimeVideo It’s this some nonsense propaganda of how beef is supposed to be unhealthy… rather this bullshit you could be saving Stargate
@AI_EmeraldApple Better hope @AmazonMGMStudio have closed the iris for the amount of hate heading their way. The execs who cancelled this are shol’va to the franchise
Hi @AmazonMGMStudio,
Many of us now work in filmmaking because of shows like Stargate SG-1.
It inspired us with its rich lore, believable character interactions, human drama, and its grounded military science fiction setting.
It showed the progress of humanity from its first baby steps through an unknown portal into a space-faring species.
The show was hopeful, human, and naturally diverse.
It showed the world and mankind coming together despite our differences to create something better.
Indeed, that is what the core of Stargate is and always has been.
We are from around the world.
We are men, women, fathers, mothers, grandparents, grandchilren, and proud of the values Stargate has always stood for. It's rare for a franchise that appeals to people across a political divide, but Stargate always has. It has always stood for the message that we are stronger together. These are the fans.
Martin Gero, Joe Mallozzi, Brad Wright, and everyone else involved have had decades to understand this. There is no better team to trust than the ones who've been there with us the longest. It's a symbiotic relationship.
I, and every Stargate fan, urge you to reconsider during this Window of Opportunity. The writing team was in the middle of their backswing during the cancellation announcement. At least let them finish a season.
We are worth taking a chance on!
I'm Emerald May, and I work in visual effects in Atlanta and I'm proud of shows like Stargate SG-1, Atlantis, and Universe that helped steer my career into a place where we make worlds come true.
Thank you.
@BaronDestructo Were we going to finally meet the furlings? That was it wasn’t it @AmazonMGMStudio wanted to deny the fanbase from meeting the last of the alliance of the four.
Hey Stargate Fans please let @amazon and @AmazonMGMStudio know how you feel about them cancelling #Stargate
They MOCK us. They think they don't need us. Let them know what you think of that.
I won't be watching ANY other Stargate that is created without the OG creators /Gero being involved.
I'm DONE with studios SHITTING ON THE FANS AND KILLING IPS WE LOVE.
#stargate #stargatecanceled #amazon #amazonstudios #amazonmgmstudio
@AmazonMGMStudio you are showing how out of touch you are. The original show runners and writers would have told stories that pulled in big audiences on top of OG fans. #savethegate
I’m gonna simply say this: if you are at all interested in a Stargate show with ANY of the original creators/performers involved, now is the time to say something. Otherwise it really will be the end of that chapter forever. Let them know you are THERE
Starmer and Hermer chose to tear up the protections, that Conservatives put in place, to stop our brave veterans being dragged through the courts in their old age. They claim the courts had left them no choice.
Well guess what?
My Shadow Attorney General stepped in, acted pro bono for veterans and won: the UKSC have reinstated immunities and confirmed that the vast majority of our Act is lawful.
When a lower court said the Legacy Act breached the ECHR and the Windsor Framework, Labour did not appeal. It suited them to hide behind international law rather than stand up for those who served our country.
There was no legal duty to betray our veterans. Starmer and Hermer chose to do that. Conservatives chose to fight for them.
I'm proud of @DXW_KC, @AWNDinsmore and my Shadow Northern Ireland & Defence Teams for keeping up this fight.
We are the ONLY party actually holding Labour to account. Farage did not bother to turn up last Monday and vote against Labour’s terrible anti-veterans bill.
Another reason to VOTE CONSERVATIVE today.
This went huge yesterday!
“Brexit did deep damage to our economy,” says Sir Keir.
“No, it didn’t,” says Facts4EU,
“and we prove you’re lying, with one stunning chart.”
