This is a cool property and important for @springwatertwp’s history. The Cultural & Heritage Committee is doing research right now to hopefully stage the Hillsdale Lockup for a tour this year!

The answer to today’s Heritage Trivia Question is - the Hillsdale Jail. Hillsdale was a policing village and small lockups similar to this one were often built for temporary holding of prisoners prior to being transported to larger jails.
