SRK once narrated in a conversation with Shoma Chaudhury, how he had landed himself in jail after roughing up a journalist who had written some shit about him and his co star. He was arrested and put behind bars. What made that day even more difficult was that he missed his late mother. She was a magistrate and would usually get him out of trouble whenever something like this happened in Delhi. But that day, she wasn't there to bail him out. It was Nana Patekar who eventually came and bailed him out of jail.
