Hi, My name is Hauwa
I spent the previous weeks telling myself I'll start here posting on a Monday and Mondays came and passed.
So here is me defeating that to show up on a Sunday.
I'm trying to build an audience here, if you'd like to connect, please say Hi.
I use to want to be in good books wherever I go but now I just try to be good, irrespective of what happens, YOU CAN NEVER SATISFY EVERYONE and so you have to be fine.
I mean I dislike people for the silliest reasons so?😑
Watched this video on building confidence and I think I'm beginning to understand people who have over 5k tweets with an average of 2 likes per tweet but still wake up the next day and floods their page with tweets and retweets...

It is troubling that the ongoing Saleem Goje and Hadiza Gabon controversy has generated more outrage across Arewa social media than the abduction of over 40 innocent people in Borno State, the captivity of more than 50 citizens by bandits under the guise of "peace and reconciliation," or the kidnapping of elderly residents in Kebbi State.
Sometimes, one is forced to ask if we have become desensitized to the insecurity ravaging our communities?
A leaked conversation involving celebrities seems to attract more attention, anger, and endless debate than the suffering of thousands of families who have lost loved ones, been displaced, or continue to live under the threat of violence.
Imagine if we devoted this same energy, passion, and collective voice to demanding security, justice, and accountability from those entrusted with protecting our people. Imagine if our outrage was louder for victims of insecurity than for social media controversies.
The truth is that insecurity remains one of the greatest threats to Northern Nigeria's future. Yet, too often, we allow ourselves to be distracted by issues that, in the grand scheme of things, will have little impact on the lives of our people.
Arewa must wake up. Our priorities should reflect the realities confronting our communities. Until we value the safety and dignity of human lives above celebrity drama, meaningful change will remain difficult to achieve.
Gaskiya, Arewa mu tashi mu farka. The lives of our people matter more than any trending controversy.
