one dangerous thing in business today is the appearance of execution where there is no execution. this is a caveat for stakeholders and investors especially.

i've seen it firsthand: a venture presented as if something massive was being built, with all the signs of momentum carefully arranged to create excitement and attract cheques. sweet mouths are everywhere today and you must be wary of them. real estate developments, startups, investment schemes, crypto projects, and NGOs (this one, lol).

too long, didn't read: do your due diligence. don't rely solely on what is shown to you. a two-minute video can be staged. drone footage can make a small site look enormous. fake waitlists. fake traction. even FOMO and "investor interest" can be exaggerated.
