10/12/2020 - The day I finally fulfilled my childhood dream of become a Haafidhul Qur'an 💚.
May Allah سبحانه وتعالى make us from the people of the Qur’an and make the Qur'an the means of our entrance into Jannatul Firdaus. Ameen!
The hard work starts now.
"What will people say or think" damages alot of people mentally and affects our happiness - people will always have something to say - live to please Allah سبحانه وتعالى not the people.
The importance of Adab cannot be emphasised enough, this was ingrained to many of us when we were growing up.
Look after the Qur'an, keep it in a high place, never have our back towards it, not doing these things can block our path to knowledge.
Teach our children Adab.
When looking for a potential spouse, firstly try to inculcate these qualities within us and look for these qualities:
1) Love of Allah سبحانه وتعالى and the Prophet صلي الله عليه وسلم - this love they will pass onto our children.
2) Desire to improve themselves..
Hadhrat Abubakar رضي الله عنه mentioned in a sermon:
"Beware of boasting, what is there to be boastful about for a creation that was created by soil and shall return to the soil - who is living today and be dead tomorrow"
[الزهد للإمام أحمد ص ١٣٥]
Legit one of the toughest battles in this dunya is fighting to boost our Imaan, when it dips, it feels like the whole world is going to collapse on us - it's a sadness that engulfs our hearts.
Firstly it's important we cling onto those who are pious around us - keep in their...
Hadhrat Abubakar رضي الله عنه mentions:
"No one should look down on any Muslim, surely the most insignifant of Muslims is great in the sight of Allah سبحانه وتعالى"
{أحياء علوم الدين ١٣٧/٤}
Alhamdulilah purchased these beautiful kits. Great quality and Inshā'Allāh wear with the intention of spreading the message about the current situation in Palestine.
May Allah سبحانه وتعالى make it easy for them, protect them, and free them from the hold of the oppressors.
A man asked the Messenger of Allah صلي الله عليه وسلم: "Which aspect of Islam is best?" He replied: "That you should provide food and greet both those you know and those you do not know" [Abu Dawood]
Bro, how long it took you to complete hifdh? And did you do it with the translation? — Spent quite a long time on dhor but sabaq wise around 2 years - every single sabaq I had the translation open with the tafseer to aid memorisat… https://t.co/FoL1lJ9X3L
"Learning about Islam is a pressing need of the day. Every Muslim should equip themselves to defend Islam against issues that are raised by the media"
~Shaykh Saleem Dhorat حفظه الله
When we want something in this dunya or we want Allah سبحانه وتعالى to open doors for us, always ask ourselves three questions:
1) Are we making enough du'a?
2) Are we putting in enough effort to get what we want?
3) Are we putting enough trust in Allah سبحانه وتعالى?
Train yourself to look at your trials in a positive light. Struggle & strife are part and parcel of life. So take them in your stride when they arrive at your door. Remember, nothing lasts. So you can choose to view your trials with hope or you’ll be swept away by your emotions.
"Spend a few minutes daily away from everyone and everything.
1) Put aside your phone
2) Get away from every distraction
3) And contemplate the day when we will need to stand alone in front of Allah سبحانه وتعالى"
~Hadhrat Moulana Yusuf Motala رحمه الله
