Join us this Sunday 19th July from 1:30pm for our Charity Football Match in support of Stevie and his family.
Stevie was sadly diagnosed with incurable cancer in September last year and as he continues to face this incredibly difficult journey, we are coming together as a community to raise funds and provide support for Stevie and his loved ones during this time.
"In September last year after 7 weeks in hospital I was diagnosed with Carcinoma of Oesophagus & Metastatic Malignant neoplasm to peritoneum.
To simplify this its cancer of the stomach lining & unfortunately this is non curable. I have had 10 cycles of chemotherapy so far and at the moment this has kept the cancer at bay and from spreading further. I am currently on a treatment break with chemotherapy due to start again Mid June. Obviously due to the circumstances i am unable to work, any funds raised would go towards making as many happy memories with my 2 beautiful children Owen (19) & Ava (11) and my partner of 15 years Tasha & for their futures.
Life is short and if I have anything to say, it would be to make the most of the time you have, hug that bit harder and spend quality time with your loved ones, as in a blink of an eye it can all change." - Stevie G

Last week, our Ipswich Wanderers U8s held their signing-on evening, where the players received their squad numbers and new kits, followed by a fantastic BBQ with all the parents, coaches and families.

The club shared some exciting plans for the season ahead, and everyone is looking forward to getting started!
