Why am I supposed to hate Russia so much?

@MAGAVoice It's been "preached" to me since I was little that Russia is so terrible.... I've asked many times now why that's the case, and still haven't gotten a straight answer. Just Hollywood weirdos in movies talking about "bad Russia". Have we completely forgotten both world wars?
