@emilypitek Y'all had just beaten us in the super and he goes you already have the right colors come root for Alabama and it made me laugh. I 100% pulled for Bama that year.
On the bright side...I am waiting to hear Patrick Murphy, Sam Ricketts, and Courtney Diefel's pitch to OU fans π maybe even Rhonda Revelle's.
I randomly still think about Patrick Murphy and Mike White's pitches to OU fans last the last time this happenef.
@brookeeldridge2 Jordy and Hannah great reasons. I can also see rooting for DJ and Courtney, Sam Ricketts, and I think of Patrick Murphy's 2015 pitch to this day so he just instantly gets a nod to hear him out. π
@allisonefanning I constantly have to look new things up that most teams might only go back less than 5 to find. Prior to this year.
Last 10+ losses season 2014
Missed WCWS 2015
Shutout 2019
Shutout at home 2015
4+ error game 2011 *done by hand
We are blessed and spoiled as a fan base.
@softball_randy II feel like Zac Selmon knows a thing or 2 about maintaining and supporting a softball program. Born in Norman and was in Oklahoma's athletic department from 2009 until 2023 when he took the Mississippi State job. Tomorrow I will be so happy for him and Sam.
@SoleyggyxSoley Nope I refuse. I'm now going to wait to hear the pitches of the head coaches on why we should root for their team ala Patrick Murphy and Mike White in 2015.
@jackiewinz After the WCWS field is set today I'm swearing off any more softball games until Thursday. No one can change my mind. I will pick a team to root for by Friday.
The season is over it didn't end how we wanted. This team has faced so much. Jen Rocha's diagnosis, treatment, and return, Nelly's injury and who knows what we as fans didn't see they have faced.
So thank you to the seniors who gave their all this year. It's been a fun ride.
We have 3 outs. I have seen crazier things happen. It won't happen in one at bat. It will depend on the players staying within themselves pitch by pitch.
@DudyNobleField It didn't look intentional to me. However I think the booing is to be expected. It's a HBP in a game 3 of a Super Regional. I would also expect a home crowd to boo a coach/pitcher if they felt like they were stalling.
The hit to Wells did not look intentional. I'm still good with the crowd booing, making the pitcher feel uncomfortable and hope they keep it up. @OUontheAir
@addieee1133@OUontheAir I mean I started with it did not look intentional, so I am saying it did not look like it was planned. Booing is a part of the game, intentional walks get booed and so do hit by pitches.
