I think what annoys me about the Invincible discourse where people have blindly accepted that the celebrity casting is eating into the animation budget (when it’s more on Amazon wanting to get this show out yearly) is that none of the actors they cast are high in demand AND tend to have voice acting experience.

Yea, you might see Yeun or Simmons pop up in a new movie or two but respectfully, when the last time most of the niggas here have actually been big ticket sellers?? Why are we assuming they’re costing millions?? Is it far fetched to think a lot of them might be getting paid LESS because they wanna be in the bloody superhero cartoon??

This is gonna be read as me defending the casting or whatever when I’m simply saying, I don’t think niggas know what they’re talking about and the logic doesn’t track when little to no modern day A-listers actually have roles in this show. Let them cast someone like Chalamet or Zendaya to voice a pet alien and then we’ll talk
