@Kaysuede @charliekirk11 True. It’s not perfect socialism. Let me rephrase: Israel has some socialist qualities, and they seem to work. (Healthcare, govmt payments per child, etc). Therefore it would seem that if the US would (and I think they SHOULDN’T) do some of those, it wouldn’t be Venezuela.

@charliekirk11 Charlie, Honest question: I agree that socialism would hurt us, and I am against it in every way. BUT: the economy in Israel seems to work, and they are socialists. Wouldn’t that mean socialism wouldn’t necessarily turn the US into Venezuela? How come it works in Israel?
