@Oyebanji_akins The difference here wasn’t shown…. Kanye West is a producer for high means much if his time spent is choosing sounds that go together selecting synth and drum elements then mixing them down and finally recording. The process is different however both are Geniuses in their own.

@vyolitmusic I used the 18i20 once in a studio and it sounded clean AF and they have the same preamps. It’s clutch for the price but my vocals only go through Apogee hardware.

@typatheo Yep I drop chord and melodies beforehand and that will determine my drum patterns once in a while I’ll program full drums and then I’ll add other elements after all that I then mix the instruments and add my vocals then master.
