I don’t know why people romanticize struggling with a man. You’re a woman who has worked hard, built herself up, and achieved some level of stability. Then you meet a man who has nothing to offer, and you’re supposed to start building with him.
What exactly has he been doing all these years while you were working on yourself?
Wife: “They offered me $180,000 a year.”
Husband: “Tell them no.”
Wife: “What?”
Husband: “Turn it down.”
She laughed because she thought he was joking.
He wasn’t.
Wife: “I’ve been interviewing for this job for two months.”
Husband: “And now you got it. Congrats. Tell them no.”
Wife: “Why would I do that?”
Husband: “Because we already discussed you working.”
Wife: “No. YOU decided I shouldn’t work.”
Husband: “Same difference.”
Wife: “Not even close.”
He closed his laptop.
Husband: “Why do you suddenly need a career so bad?”
Wife: “Suddenly? I worked before we got married.”
Husband: “And then I started making enough for both of us.”
Wife: “That doesn’t mean I stopped wanting my own career.”
Husband: “You got everything you need.”
Wife: “Then why do I gotta ask you before I buy anything?”
Husband: “Because I make the money.”
She went quiet.
Husband: “What?”
Wife: “Say that again.”
Husband: “I said I make the money.”
Wife: “Exactly.”
That’s when the argument changed.
She reminded him she’d tried getting a part-time job the year before.
He complained the hours would interfere with dinner.
She tried freelancing from home.
He told her it was taking too much attention away from him.
Then she applied for a remote position.
Husband: “We don’t need strangers from your job calling the house all day.”
Wife: “They’d be calling my laptop.”
Husband: “You know what I mean.”
She eventually stopped applying.
Until this $180K offer came.
Wife: “I’m accepting it.”
Husband: “No, you’re not.”
Wife: “Watch me.”
Husband: “And who’s paying the mortgage when you start acting independent?”
Wife: “What does my job have to do with the mortgage?”
Husband: “Everything.”
Wife: “Are you threatening me?”
Husband: “I’m reminding you how comfortable your life is.”
Wife: “Comfortable?”
Husband: “House paid. Car paid. Cards paid. You don’t gotta worry about nothing.”
Wife: “Except having money that’s actually mine.”
He stared at her.
Husband: “We’re married. There is no ‘mine.’”
Wife: “Funny how that only applies when it’s MY money.”
She accepted the job that night.
The next morning, her credit card stopped working..............
Consistency beats perfection, but it is not an avenue to remain mediocre.
You can consistently do one wrong thing and keep getting the same results.
Consistency is about continuously learning, unlearning & refining yourself to be the best possible.
Keeping everyone (including Africans) completely ignorant about Africa and the central role it plays in the economic and natural world is a core feature of Europeanised education, not a bug.
You're not supposed to know that the DRC is the most resource-rich country in the world, with an estimated $24 trillion sitting under its soil. You're not supposed to know that the rise of "western civilisation" from the 15th century on was entirely made possible by European contact with Africa, and that the resources and labour extracted from coastal West Africa from 1492 onwards are the entire reason why both American continents exist in their current form.
You're not supposed to know that both WW1 and WW2 were essentially wars fought over the right to African colonial domination and expansion, and that even the uranium that was used in "Little Boy" and "Fat Man" dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki came from Shinkolobwe uranium mine in eastern DRC. You're not supposed to know that the reason the country of France exists in its current form is because tens of thousands of conscripted West African soldiers fought and won against the Nazis in Europe, and the French thereafter shipped them back to West Africa and massacred them at Camp Thiaroye in Senegal to avoid paying them their due wages.
You're not supposed to know that there was nothing cold about the so-called Cold War, because the vast majority of the hot theaters it was physically fought in were on the continent of Africa. (Zimbabwe, DRC, Mozambique, Namibia, South Africa, Angola, Eritrea, Zambia etc). You're not supposed to know that the ongoing Ukraine war and the war in the Sahel are in fact the same conflict being fought by the same 2 sides, and that the reason France is desperately pushing funding and arms to Ukraine even as it falls into internal crisis is that Ukraine is acting as its proxy army in West Africa, as it tries to regain its lost colonial territories there, especially Niger where the cheap yellowcake uranium for its famously cheap nuclear energy used to come from before the 2023 revolution.
You're definitely not supposed to know that the entire global economy and system of trade as you know it is built on ruthless extraction from Africa and ensuring that Africa does not control anything it exports. You're not supposed to know that "Italian leather" doesn't come from Italy - it comes from Kano, Nigeria. You're not supposed to know that "Swiss chocolate" does not exist because cocoa does not grow anywhere in Switzerland or Europe - it comes from Ghana, Cote d'Ivoire and Nigeria. You're not supposed to know that Israel and the UAE control the global diamond and gold markets even though Israel has no diamond mine and the UAE has zero gold mines, because both resources are literally being stolen from the DRC and Sudan on an industrial basis.
You're basically not supposed to understand that the entire geopolitical world as you know it, rests entirely on extraction from Africa, poverty of Africans, and your own ignorance about where everything you use comes from.
Completely deliberate 500+ year-old feature, not accidental bug.

@euvitin0@3chae_ If it can be corrected in the parents before the child is born, isn't that a good advancement?
Nature is cruel to disabled things, not just people.
Most animals would kill a disabled offspring, it is just natural selection at play.
💥BOMBSHELL: European Parliament confirms a COVID vaccine lottery—and some got the kill shot.
In a shocking admission that validates what millions suspected, the European Parliament confirmed the COVID vaccine rollout was a calculated experiment with human lives. Not everyone received the same formula—some got a low-concentration mRNA dose while others received what whistleblowers are calling "the kill shot"—a lethal amount designed to eliminate rather than protect.
But the deception runs even deeper —a troubling procedural order keeps both the public and even doctors from being fully informed. There are two sets of adverse data: one the pharmaceutical companies keep hidden, and one carefully curated for public consumption.
Perhaps the most damning: According to Marcel de Graaff of the FVD MEP, the EMA—Health Canada's equivalent—knew the mRNA vaccines neither treat nor stop transmission of COVID-19. Even worse, they concealed evidence that vaccinated people were MORE likely to contract the virus.
This isn't just a medical scandal—it's a crime against humanity.
