conservatives a month ago: “why should we listen to the government and stay home? you are all sheep, this is a free country!”
conservatives today: “if you just follow the government mandated curfew, the paramilitary police stormtroopers won’t shoot you in the face, it’s simple”
@HattersonFord@timsoret@8Infinite8 @HeavyKou So to chalk it all up "this is my opinion and I didn't like thing!" Or "I wish they did thing different!" Art is subjective, the atmosphere is by design and consistent in both films. Good talk
@HattersonFord@timsoret@8Infinite8 @HeavyKou Literally mirroring the fact that you're missing the forest for the trees. You're missing the painting for the fog. It's part of the artistry, it's like something out of a Bekinski painting, and yet in a movie it's not artistic, it's lazy?
I’m going give someone random who retweets this tweet $10,000 because it’s my birthday and I feel like being nice ☺️ (you have to be following me so I can dm you the code if you win)
IUD’s are no longer being covered by OHIP, birth control goes up to $70 for 3 months, OSAP is literally screwing every student in the middle to lower class over, there’s a housing crisis still in effect, but horse racing....
@Mega_Mandalf I remember catching one before the big guy that either required it to be night, or raining. Or both. I don't remember if it's vesper gar. But I think I just googled it. Fishing level doesn't affect spawns I think, only ease of catching
@Mega_Mandalf That fish was actually really tough to get, knees weak palms sweaty, etc. I got it first try, but it was actually a real battle. Which, for a fishing minigame, is an achievement.
@Mega_Mandalf Just like real fishing I feel it requires patience, especially in FFXV. That's why I never mainline fishing like "fuck yeah a fishing minigame!" You've gotta be feeling it. But I appreciate the inclusion. I found myself fishing in FFXV a lot more than I expected tbh.
@Mega_Mandalf Also, there tends to be this sort of in-game design ecosystem where you can find new rods, baits, etc through quests or something. That changes up how the minigames plays. It's sort of lateral progress that gets you excited to take a break, and try out this side activity.
@Mega_Mandalf Personally I hate fishing irl. But in games it's typically a comfy, laidback side activity. Often with a collection book to fill out. I guess I just find the minigames to be decently in-depth (FFXV, Dark Cloud 2) without being overbearing. Just a nice way to take a break.
