Toddler: Mama touch this.
Me: Touch what?
Toddler: Touch my bellybutton.
Me: I don’t want to touch your bellybutton.
Toddler: TOUCH MY BELLYBUTTON !!!! 😡😡😡
Have you ever been so forgetful that you say to yourself “I need to write that on my to-do list” and then in the amount of time it takes you to get out your to-do list, you’ve already forgotten the thing you were supposed to remember? Asking for a friend.
It’s 8:30am. My toddler is at her grandparent’s house. It’s quite. I am enjoying drinking my coffee while laying on the couch. My cat jumps up for snuggles. I am now wearing my coffee.
I just watched my toddler empty out her laundry bin, collect all the dirty socks she could find, then come over and try to fit them all on my feet. This is parenthood, my friends.
Without me noticing, my toddler stole an onion out of the cupboard, peeled it, then ate it like an apple.. Oh did I mention that wasn’t the first time?
