Crypto people can turn anything into an alpha thread.π§΅
Even ordering shawarma somehow becomes:
"7 lessons founders can learn from buying shawarma." π―ππ
I still remember the first time I heard the word "Incognito."
I was a kid, and it sounded like something out of a spy movie.
Then someone explained it to me.
"It's a way to browse without leaving your history behind on your device."
I remember thinking...
That just makes sense.
Privacy wasn't something you had to earn.
It was simply expected.
Years later, I got into crypto.
For the first time, I truly owned my money.
But ownership came with a trade off I never saw coming.
One wallet address can reveal more than you'd expect.
Pay a freelancer, and they can view the wallet that paid them.
Receive funds, and your balances may be visible.
Trade regularly, and your on chain activity can start telling a story about your financial life.
Not because you chose to share it.
Because public blockchains are transparent by design.
Transparency is what helps us trust the network.
It shouldn't mean giving up financial privacy.
Crypto gave us ownership.
The missing piece is privacy.
That's the gap @UmbraPrivacy is closing by building Solana's privacy layer.
With Umbra, you can:
π Shield your balances so they aren't publicly visible.
πΈ Send private transfers without exposing your financial history.
π Make private swaps without revealing your positions or strategy.
The network can still verify every transaction.
The difference is that your financial activity isn't public by default.
Privacy isn't about hiding.
It's about having the freedom to decide what the world gets to know about you.
Maybe it's time our wallets had an Incognito mode.

In the past six months, I've learned that growth isn't always loud.
I've gone from overthinking every X Space to confidently requesting the mic.
I even joined the karaoke in the @varmythevault Discord community. Not because I can't sing ,I actually can. π
I was just shy, and I refused to let that stop me. π€
Still the same Emie. Still fidgets. Still gets nervous sometimes. Just a little braver than I was six months ago.
Here's to showing up until the results catch up.
I'll keep growing, learning, and building with @solflare. π

Take a deep breath.
Count your blessings.
Show up for your dreams.
The little things you do today can become the big things you're proud of tomorrow.
Happy Friday, frens. π
