Aside Osadebe, Oliver, Okotie, Okposo, Fela, Sina, many of you don't know names like William Onyeabor, Funkees or even Dr Alban.

Google them and see their music catalogue.
From what I found out, they dominated global scene but paid little attention to the local scene.

Today we all can see those with long lasting impact.

Davido remains the only artiste among the big guys that has been consistent in doing shows, event, in Nigeria. The rest care more about the global stage than the local stage.

Let's wait in the next 20 years and see who the people will still remember and reckon with.
