I didn't exactly set out to do this, but over the weekend I caught three sequels to 80s-90s films. Evil Dead Rise may be my favorite of the bunch (the rest just didn't have enough chainsaws, sorry), but Twisters may be the biggest surprise - both familiar and refreshing.

Celebrated the end of the ping pong run with Chickita, a flame-grilled chicken joint that is like Nando's if the sauces are much more distinctive and varied. Not too bad.

Lost in my semi-finals match, but we did clinch 3rd place. Not too shabby as the only group stage runner-up to make it to the semis.

Now I hope I can find more avenues to play and improve.

When I signed up for the office ping pong tournament I certainly didn't expect to make it to the semi-finals.

Whatever happens, I get to play 2 games today and I'm going to have fun.

(Reposting this message everyday) Day 4. The latest word on #coyotevsacme is that @wbpictures have already made up their minds on the films fate . Just waiting for this to all die down . Perhaps another bidder comes out of left field but the asking price is pretty high . Nothing is official until it’s official but we are pretty much on the side of trying to change their minds by releasing #ReleaseCoyoteVsAcme themselves or lowering that asking price . Trust me , they hear the noise but it is going to take a TON more convincing . So what needs to happen here is we fight 100x harder than before . Tag @wbpictures , let them know you are pumped up to see this film . Let them see that they can make a profit if it’s released . I know it’s tiring , I know some people are ready to give up but we have to keep fighting . This is for all the cast and crew of a completed work of art. This is for all the fans of @LooneyTunes . This is also to prevent this behavior from happening again in the future . If they have actually made up their minds to shelve it for good ….whenever it is announced, there will be just as much backlash . The smart move is for them to release it themselves, make some money , show love to the people that make them money and show appreciation to the cast and crew that make your films .
