@Floati_corn Because, from my point of view, they voice this "rhetoric" so loudly—claiming it’s "the right thing to do"—and threaten to leave, yet none of them actually will; it will always be easier to try to impose your will regarding something you dislike than to seek out alternatives.

[Kaara @_Kaara245]

@Floati_corn ...trying to "impose" one's idea of what is "correct"—but also, beyond that, without one's "discourse"—for what use are rules and structures if there is nowhere to "apply" them?

[Kaara @_Kaara245]

[Kaara @_Kaara245]

@hakujovdai When the ego and narcissism of certain authors eclipsed the desire and love for creating stories—for their own sake, rather than for the sake of the recognition, comments, and kudos they might receive after publication.

[Kaara @_Kaara245]

[Kaara @_Kaara245]

@Cetotherium @harriertail @bee_mm_ss Exactly! Because there’s no age limit for a hobby—there are people in the fandom who are 20, 30, 40, or even older, and that’s perfectly fine! But reaching a point where you can no longer use common sense and remember that it’s just a HOBBY—that’s something worth questioning.

[Kaara @_Kaara245]

@harriertail @bee_mm_ss At this point, I don’t know whether that makes me laugh or feel sorry.

[Kaara @_Kaara245]

@killmyaffairs Te regalaremos el cielo si vuelves

[Kaara @_Kaara245]

@iminkain @n3lisssse And he will continue to offer increasingly ridiculous excuses—in the face of so many arguments—so as not to let the possibility that he was wrong even begin to emerge (not even to himself).

[Kaara @_Kaara245]

@iminkain @n3lisssse I said it before and I’ll say it now: most likely, he has already realized he’s wrong, but he’s so mired in his own rhetoric that admitting he was mistaken on this point just isn’t an option for his pride.

[Kaara @_Kaara245]
