Physio went better, did 20ft each way and didnโt get dizzy, where I could only manage 6ft before going into a full blackout previously
Heart rate still jumped up to 140 but itโs a lot more manageable now
Still uncertain of the cause though and waiting on heart monitor results
Struggling in this heat, have no AC in here. Itโs really easy to see how so many die during these heatwaves when even most hospitals donโt have it. :/
At the risk of igniting a public debate about the designโฆ we prepared for days like this.
There are now more than 100 water fountains all over the city, and 4,000 water refill points.
Fill up. Stay hydrated.
So what Iโm starting to gather is I may have had an undiagnosed heart condition from childhood that kept getting fobbed off with diabetes prick tests. Doc saying I might have to wear a heart monitor for up to a year. Lil bit more concerning I guess.
So small update I guess.
I can stand for a while just fine, but any physical exertion increases my heart rate drastically and may be the cause. Even standing it went from 80 to 120, and the same for basic leg exercises while sat/laid down.
Not really ideal.
Bike also confirmed safe after delays in comms from insurance so had major stress subsided, can just focus on rest and recovery now, tho still no pain relief ._.
Still a long 12 weeks ahead even after I get released though, not looking forward to it during full summer weather
Lil update, physio being delayed too much after full blackout during earlier and moving back to other hospital, likely staying in 3-7 days longer than expected.
Vasovagal syncope any time I stand
Wi-Fi at other hospital is v bad so RIP my only form of sanity for the next week (:
Theyโre taking me off the fentanyl today so Iโm gonna be back to completely unmanaged pain as they only want to give codeine and oral morphine which have not worked at all since admittance :/
