One of the most underused exploits in poker:

Flop donking multiway

There are loads of boards where SB/BB should lead in theory

Population barely does it

And when players face a donk:

• They under-raise
• They slightly overfold

That's all the incentive we need

In this hand we lead Q♠T♥ on K83♠♠.

Why?

Because theory likes it, population hates playing against it, and our combo is a perfect candidate (explained below)

A key aspect of this hand is that pool let's us realise equity too often

And when they call, they don't slow play enough. Meaning they overfold too much on later streets

So when we pick up equity (or we have a presence read) we can polarise hard and start blasting

My favourite candidates are hands with decent backdoors that sit just outside your normal continue range vs a c-bet

That way we make even more EV with our range

Most players auto-check these spots, and that's leaving money on the table

Multiway donks come up all the time, and they're worth a lot more EV than people realise
