Recording with your RTX GPU's built in NVENC encoder has no tangible downsides:
1.) No screen tearing, regardless off your in game v-sync settings.
2.) Minimal performance impact, comparable quality to CPU encoder.
3.) The simplest solution.

@overlordgamin Breakpoint has a setting called "Temporal Injection" which makes the game render at lower than native resolution, that is why your game was blurry and blocky, and has a quality setting above Ultra called "Ultimate" (scroll down after Ultra), but good luck to your GTX1080Ti... 🤪
