#LostYouForever (‘chang xiang si’) is a chinese ancient fantasy drama series adapted from the novel trilogy of the same name (‘chang xiang si’) in《the books of mountain and sea》(‘shan jing hai ji’) series by tong hua.

the fantasy settings and characters in the novel and drama adaptation draw inspiration from chinese mythology, predominantly found in the ancient text《the classic of mountains and seas》(‘shanhai jing’), known as a mythic encyclopedia with its compilation of places inhabited by deities, beasts, people, and creatures alike that have quite literally made a splash, shaping the physical geography of the land and natural phenomena.
