PhD researcher in GNSS Reflectometry, specifically soil moisture retrievals from 🛰 Part of @SCENARIO_DTP Cohort 5. Funded by NERC and SSTL. She/Her 🏳️🌈
@RDP_Surrey Loved today, very helpful thank you! The combination of dedicated alone time for writing, and group sessions (with interactive elements) helped me get a lot done without feeling too overwhelmed. Brain definitely had a work out though 😅
Back in April I was very proud to take part in the 13th IAA #SmallSats for #EO Symposium online, and to come 2nd in the Young Professionals competition - with my friend and colleague Callum taking 1st!

Roger thinks that there are some benefits to conferences being virtual this year! Currently enjoying Sir Martin Sweeting’s keynote @ the 13th IAA SmallSat for EO conference #puppy#PhDlife
As part of an additional Uni module on Sustainability my team and I are performing an analysis of the Stacey Dooley doc. "Fashion's Dirty Secrets". I'd be grateful if you could fill out the following short survey, even if you haven't seen it! Many thanks https://t.co/nH8kUd7SdF
@eskaupade Oh no! I think you may be able to request it if you go to the website? I’ve heard of some people missing out because apparently their address “doesn’t exist”! 🤷
UK #Census2021 - #PhD students seem to have fallen down the cracks (as usual!) I used a hodge-podge of options which I *think* reflect what I do, but it's quite unsatisfying. I used the feedback option to explain the shortcomings - feel free to copy! Any thoughts?

PhD researchers are an integral part of academia and carry out important work across a wide variety of sectors, including health, technology and sustainability, and it is disappointing that we fall down the cracks of the census when we play a key role.' 5/5
We receive funding from various sources e.g. UKRI, or private funds, or other institutions etc. so "Funder/Funding Source" could be an alternative question to "Employer" for PhD students. 4/5
Programming jokes are fun...
... but only when executed properly 😅
@brianlo747 writes about the potential problems arising for researchers using #Python, in the style of a 17th century play 😄

Happy to say that my second paper is now published!

Happy International Women’s Day! Every day is a day to celebrate women, but today especially I’m thinking about inspiring women from space and RF engineering. We have made huge strides for representation in STEM, but there is still much work to be done! 💪 #IWD2021#WomenInSTEM
