Whenever you speak to me just know Iโve had like 4-5 cups of coffee already. B.S Psychology, B.A. Law & Ethics โจ BLM โ๐พ LGBTQ+ ๐ณ๏ธโ๐ (she/her)
@nw10knee @Bemorte This statement just sounds like they are trying to cover their asses and say the story is bogus rather than idk, FUCKING APOLOGIZING to all the victims that have had to succumb to this shit.
The @AP obtained nearly 12,000 pages of records showing that a โhelp lineโ run by the Mormon church is part of a system that can be misused to divert abuse accusations against church members away from law enforcement โ and out of the public eye. https://t.co/8SCJ22CCNH
Yesli Vega, the Republican nominee running against Rep. Abigail Spanberger (D-Va.), downplayed the possibility of becoming pregnant as a result of rape when asked about her stance on abortion at a campaign stop.

@J_finn8@MarlenaStell With that fucking logic that the mother shouldnโt rely on treatment because it may be there fate, you would have to also agree that if your child was dying you wouldnโt call 911 because โitโs there fate to die nowโ. Faith isnโt gonna fix them bleeding to death.
@LamentationsJ@DrJeremyTeuton@benshapiro What makes something that was subjective to an individual court proceeding now objective in terms of law because itโs put forth in practice? Can there be ways to measure moral objectivity? If it could be measured I think overall universal consensus would be easier to attain.
@LamentationsJ@DrJeremyTeuton@benshapiro Iโm assuming your referring to substantive due process? How subjective interpretations can be used to formulate decisions like Dred and RvsW. Hmm that brings into question for me how subjectivity can become objective in regards to moral theory and law?
@LamentationsJ@DrJeremyTeuton@benshapiro Iโm just saying that the reason Mcfall vs. Shimp was important was because it was hinged off of the decision that RvsW was able to protect. The reason the court was able to rule that individuals can not be forced to help others through use of their body, was because of RvsW.
@LamentationsJ@DrJeremyTeuton@benshapiro It hinges off of Roe vs. Wade. Which is why it was acknowledged by the Supreme Court because of the discussion on bodily autonomy.
@JRAtotoro @yankeecannuck @BesteButter @RichMeat3 @itsVALKYRIE@laurennfarmerr@milanicosmetics@LOrealParisUSA I had to block that troll ๐ she has no clue or credentials to speak of. She just talks out of her ass. As someone with not only an ethics/law degree but also a degree in psych it was laughable to me how she thinks she understands whatโs happening more than the professionals do.
@MO_Catcher@thomaschattwill Weโre not disagreeing. Iโm just providing insight on some ethical issues that surround the pro-life conversation regarding bodily autonomy construct that individuals may not know about.
