Tired of the “people deserve second chances” crowd rushing to defend this player. This goes so far beyond “kids make mistakes”. Playing in the NHL is a privilege that can and should be revoked for this sort of evil behavior. So proud of Isaiah for sharing this-he has a fan in me.
Incredibly heart-breaking read but a necessary one. Our actions or lack thereof, have real-life consequences. A statement from Isaiah Meyer-Crothers in his own words sent to Akim Aliu, HDA Chair, on November 8, 2022 which he asked the HDA to release publicly on his behalf.
@benbbaldwin Would be super curious to see this over time for the ‘21 class. Purely anecdotal, but Fields’ play as of late has been significantly better than his early plays, signaling that he’s moving up and right? Then there’s Lance with tons of runway. Very cool way to cut this though!
Never going to understand why the NHL signed a TV deal with a broadly popular network and their streaming platform but continues to black-out games because they “nationally broadcast” them on NHL Network.
Justin Herbert would have a miserable week in store if he was a Chicago Bear. I’ve said it once, and I’m saying it again: the Fields criticism misses the fact that offenses across the league are *struggling* right now. Fields and the Bears need to improve, but they’re not alone
A lot of folks are snickering about bad offensive performances in isolated games and aren’t having larger conversations about how most offenses look pretty bad right now. Is any QB not named Josh Allen and Patrick Mahomes playing *well*?
@AaronLemingNFL He didn’t. Lucas Patrick broke his hand and Cody Whitehair busted up his knee. Maybe the intended starting lineup still doesn’t move the needle, but *this* isn’t the group he envisioned starting
Justin Fields looked really solid again tonight despite near constant interior pressure from two of the best in the game. You can miss me with all of negative nonsense about this kid.
