I’ve done over 500k in sales as a single reseller.
Hype doesn’t exist anymore. Yeezys died off after kanye spoke his mind. Nike died off when they pumped every colorway for dunks and Jordan’s.
There are still hype items but they’re 100x harder to get compared to being in hs and making a minimum profit of 50-100 per pair.
I’m glad I got out of the game but I’m aware of tons of resellers that dropped out of college to sell shoes, and now either sell fake items as real, or work some shit job.
Trends change , instead of trying to adapt to the market, do something you enjoy. I’ll always love supreme and sneakers, and have purchased pairs just to wear on certain holidays / celebration days, but you will not see most of the people who resold at the time doing the same. I was into shoes prior to the hype , I just resold to be able to afford stuff my parents would never buy .
