why can people not understand that enjoying something in fiction does not equate to supporting it irl. ah yes. let me go read my book with perfect characters who do nothing wrong ever. how boring would that be. give me more morally reprehensible characters

I wish people understood that liking a character doesn't mean you excuse their actions, you can't appreciate a complicated character with good story and depth that isn't a mary sue without getting ripped apart anymore 💔
