I think the hardest thing about getting into arguments about COVID, is that the average person's understanding of COVID is frozen in 2021. It's essentially explaining to Boomers why things are unaffordable today.
By 2023, 40% of college students developed brain damage from Covid infections.
The finding is striking in that it's from New Zealand, where the cumulative reinfections are lower than in the U.S.

One of the most painful things about Covid is knowing there are a ton of kids becoming chronically ill who don’t even know it.
They’re going to grow up thinking pain is “normal”. They will keep getting reinfected & losing points off a baseline they never got to figure out.
at home, we have to ask the son of the white man who took our grandfather’s home farm from him to visit our family’s graves. he only allows us two visits a year
