Üftâde burns in heartfelt longing
Singing like the nightingale at dawn
Can the one who wounds the lovers
Truly depart from this world with faith?
This is the truth, O seekers of life!
Those adorned with hidden unveilings
Do not open the veil of sacred secrets
| Üftâde Hz.
The most peaceful people are those who allow others to experience the peace they themselves possess.
Some souls do not merely seek happiness for themselves. They become a refuge of calm, mercy, and ease for every heart around them.
He who advises his brother in private has truly guided and honoured him. But he who advises him in the presence of others has disgraced him and darkened his dignity.
| Imam Shafi'i
Love for the Prophet ﷺ is the very essence of a believer’s heart. Loving him is an obligation, and following him is a duty.
| Imam Qurtubi - Al-Jami' li-Ahkam al-Qur'an
There exists nothing like poetry. It is unlike ordinary prose. With few, limited, and specific words, it seeks to express emotions and profound reflections. It carries within it rhyme, syllabic structure, and spiritual resonance.”
The late Yozgatlı İhsan Efendi once expressed the following view regarding poetry:
“Today we hear people say that a poem can be understood without the need of a dictionary! How can such a thing be possible? One must certainly turn to a dictionary for poetry.

And the reader, in turn, should ask, ‘In what sense has the poet used this word in this verse? What exactly does he intend? Could there be another meaning I am unaware of?’ and thus refer to the dictionary.

Üstazına yâr olanlar elbette bahtiyâr olurlar.
Those who become true companions to their teachers are, without a doubt, among the fortunate and blessed.
If you wish to live without regret, do everything for the sake of Allah. What is done for people perishes with people, but what is done for Allah remains. The world may forget, but a deed done sincerely for Allah never loses its value, neither in this world nor the hereafter.
If you are not upon the path of Allah, every path you take will lead to a dead end.
If what you do is not for the sake of Allah, every task you undertake is a waste of effort.
Only that which is done for Allah remains, while all else disappears with time.
In the ocean of helplessness, help me, O Allah
For every shore I sought vanished beneath the waves
My strength abandoned me, and my heart became tired
In losing all else, I found my way back to your door
Gözleri seni görmeyeni, gözlerinde büyütme
Kalbi sende olmayanı, kalbinle meşgul etme
Do not glorify in your eyes the one who fails to see your worth. And do not occupy your heart with the one whose heart holds no place for you.
The tongue reveals hidden secrets, yet the love that remains unspoken is clearer still. The intellect grows powerless in describing this mystery. For love, and the state of the lover, can only be explained by love itself.
| Hz. Ya’qub al-Charkhi
A true Murshid (spiritual guide) calls people not to himself, but to Allah.
The one who seeks followers for his own sake chases empty goals, while the sincere guide disappears between the servant and his Lord, wishing only that the seeker reaches Allah in purity and truth.
