Of course I'm EXTREMELY proud of Mei @_MeeiLLL and the lab, I'll also give myself credit that I predicted this before the paper was accepted! Why? Because it's AN INCREDIBLE study! Rigorous & beautiful science solving a long-standing question, revealing a surprising answer!
We can now plant over 700 near-single Arabidopsis seeds per plate with a modified Ender 3 (~$200) 3D printer, the AraPrinter. Next, we will combine the AraPrinter1.0 with the 3D printer-based imaging system, Imag3D, to track germination with high temporal resolution. Stay tuned.
