My baby was 5 months old when I started noticing build up of white substance on her tongue. I was told to clean her tongue with cotton wool and warm water which I did daily but it kept getting worse.
Shortly, the white substance started turning black and two days later, my daughter’s tongue was completely black. I was so scared my husband and I rushed her to the hospital. We saw a doctor who prescribed Nystatin drops for us to drop on her tongue 4 times daily.
I started using it and there was slight improvement but we kept going back and forth, one day, it seems like it’s working and the next, it’s like nothing is happening. I got so worried and started crying which prompted my husband to call his mum.
Mama came, met me crying and just laughed. She said the solution is the sap of a tree and we can only get the sap early in the morning before sunrise.
I was so uncomfortable with the whole thing but I needed a solution. The next morning, she came with the sap and cleaned the tongue herself, and by afternoon of same day, the black lining was beginning to peel off as she sucks.
I was the one that woke my husband the next day to go get the sap and by the 3rd day, my baby’s tongue was back to normal.
There are traditional ways to some things, you just have to find a balance.
The speed at which the lady in this ibom air saga was sent to Kirikiri is the same speed all those involved in her dehumanization should be sent to Prison.
Plus the person who stopped her from leaving the aircraft, to her who assaulted the airline staff, to the person that exposed her nakedness and the idiots who shared it online, all of them should face the law!!!
But Nigeria is a country where there are zero consequences for actions. A country where someone close to the government can stand in front of an aircraft that is ready to take off while airport authorities beg him to leave and even after the video gets out, government officials come out to apologize on his behalf because to “err is human…” However, another passenger is stripped naked and bundled…
Minister sir, @fkeyamo it is not enough to tweet! Show workings! The lady is already in kirikiri Abi? Ok what is the punishment for standing in front of an aircraft and preventing it from leaving? Oya where are the people you said will face the law for dehumanizing her? Have they been charged to court and remanded in prison? Abi una dey wait make Nigerians forget as usual?
Well, I can go on and on but I already know that in Nigeria, what is good for the goose is definitely not good for the gander.
“The treatment of Ms. Comfort Emmanson by Ibom Air was reckless and violated her right to dignity of human person”
The Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) @NigBarAssoc strongly condemns the treatment of Ms. Comfort Emmanson in the incident aboard an Ibom Air flight on 10 August 2025 and the subsequent lifetime flight ban imposed on her by Ibom Air and the Airline Operators of Nigeria (AON). These actions are heavy-handed, unlawful, and a grave affront to the rule of law and human dignity.
It is deeply disturbing that Ms. Emmanson was forcibly removed from the aircraft, stripped of her clothing in public, and subjected to humiliation that was filmed and circulated online. Such conduct is degrading, violates her right to dignity and privacy, and falls far short of the standards of civility and professionalism expected in the aviation sector. No person, regardless of the circumstances, should be treated in such a dehumanising manner.
While Ibom Air has issued its own account of events, other video footage has emerged showing an Ibom Air hostess preventing Ms. Emmanson from alighting from the aircraft, a conduct that could constitute false imprisonment and a possible provocation that escalated the situation. This makes it all the more critical that the matter be subjected to an independent, impartial investigation by the appropriate authorities before any disciplinary action is taken against her.
The decision to impose a lifetime ban without affording Ms. Emmanson a fair opportunity to be heard is equally troubling. Ibom Air has so far only presented its own version of events without giving her the chance to respond. This one-sided process, culminating in a ban supported by AON, breaches the fundamental principle of fair hearing and renders the decision legally and morally indefensible. The power to suspend or restrict a passenger’s right to fly rests with the appropriate statutory regulator, not private associations or airline operators acting unilaterally.
The photographing, dissemination, and online circulation of indecent images of Ms. Emmanson is also an egregious invasion of privacy and a criminal act. Even if the incident was to be reported, the footage should have been blurred or edited in such a way that it did not expose her nudity to the public. Those responsible for capturing and distributing the unedited footage must be identified and prosecuted. Such acts erode public trust and undermine the rights of all citizens to be treated with dignity and respect.
The NBA demands that Ibom Air immediately withdraw the lifetime ban, issue a public apology to Ms. Emmanson, and cooperate fully with an impartial investigation into this incident. We also call on the Minister for Aviation, the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority, the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria, and relevant security agencies to conduct a thorough inquiry, sanction all those found culpable, and enforce strict compliance with established standards for the humane treatment of air passengers.
The NBA stands ready to provide Ms. Emmanson with pro bono legal support to ensure her rights are protected and that she obtains redress for the violations suffered. We will not remain silent while the fundamental rights of any Nigerian are trampled upon, whether by public authorities, private corporations, or individuals. Respect for human dignity and the rule of law must never be compromised, and in this matter, justice must prevail.

Another Eye witness report:
Here is from someone who was also on the Ibom air flight. The air hostess smashed Comfort’s phone and called her a prostitute. The same air hostess also shut up a pastor on board who tried to defend Comfort.
This is madness.

ILE-IYAN SAGA: THE TRUE STORY
In any dispute, there are always two sides to the story, just as with the case of Ile-Iyan Nigeria Limited and its pounded yam business. Ile-Iyan Nigeria Limited was co-founded by Sheriff Sanni (also known as SanniKayz), along with two initial investors who contributed N10,000,000 and N5, 000,000 respectively Within six months, the relationship deteriorated, prompting the investors to seek a refund and exit the arrangement.
Lacking the funds to repay the investors, and with the business facing financial ruin, Sheriff had to look for new financing options. He chose to bring in another investor rather than take out a loan. Sheriff approached Musty, seeking to leverage on his team’s financial capabilities as well as decades of expertise in the food and hospitality business. Musty only agreed to come on as a partner, not as an investor after several persuasion from Sheriff.
At this point, it is instructive to note that Musty and his TEAM were in the process of starting a restaurant business and had secured its outlet at Ikeja prior to being approached by Sheriff in October 2023 to partner in the business.
After multiple appeals and pleas by Sheriff, Musty's company, through its subsidiary Peaceful Oasis Destination Limited (PODS), invested N80,000,000 (Eighty Million Naira) in the venture. Please understand that while the initial investor held 40% equity for N10,000,000 investment, Musty(PODS) agreed to 30% equity for their larger investment, leaving Sheriff with a 70% majority stake. In addition, Sheriff was left in charge of company finances for the Ile-Iyan outlets. A very fair deal.
To support expansion of the business situate at Lekki, Musty provided its Ikeja GRA outlet. However, days after opening Ile-Iyan Ikeja, Sheriff gave Musty a 3 day notice of his intention to japa, and on 18th January, 2024, Sheriff relocated to Canada with his family, leaving behind an underperforming Lekki and the new Ikeja outlet.
In order to salvage the situation, with its hospitality experience, Musty(PODS) took over management, and despite challenges, the Ikeja outlet became profitable, surpassing the Lekki outlet which became profitable for the first time. PODS charged a separate management fee for this since it now had to commit its employees to managing the outlet (note that this management fee was inclusive of Sheriff’s salary of N1,400,000, as well as his brother’s salary which Sheriff had increased to N400, 000 monthly for popping into the Lekki branch from time to time - ensuring Sheriff had another eye in operations of the business).
It was also agreed that a separation between finance and operations was going to take place. Sheriff, having relocated from the country to Canada would deal with finance and PODs would operate the company. Part of that agreement meant PODS would keep Sheriff’s key staff in both branches for adequate checks and balances. Paulina Legba was kept as the manager(Olori) of the Ikeja outlet while Sheriff' brother, Afeez Sanni was in charge of the Lekki branch, apart from a host of staff.
It is also necessary to note that in December 2023, a month after investing into the business, Sheriff claimed profitability in the Lekki branch. PODS asked for an audit which Sheriff dodged, he came up with some figures and shared the funds. The initial amount was used by Musty to pay PODs hospitality management fee in January of 2024 as it did not charge Ile-Iyan Nigeria Limited for its services which include procurement, cost control, daily financial reporting, operational management and other costs incurred.
Stop billing people in UK anyhow. They don't have money. They don't make enough for how much they work. The money goes back into the system.
If you see them on holiday, it is nothing. £300 will get you a week holiday in any European country inclusive of flight and hotel.
Remember one day when a neighbour told my dad that my sister doesn't greet her.
My sister was at least 30 at the time.
My dad said, "Maybe she doesn't like you."
That man🤭
I saw a TikTok from a young woman about how she paid $1000 to go to a yacht event in Monaco and people invited her to parties on some yachts "because I was dressed to impress...you can dress to show you bring value to the yacht."
And I don't know if anyone will tell her that cute dresses are not why young women are invited to yacht parties.
If a man I was dating asked me to get tested before having sex, I wouldn’t be offended—I’d be impressed. To me, asking someone to get tested doesn’t imply a negative opinion of them; it shows that you’re sensible, cautious, and proactive about sexual health.
Guys that walk
Guys that drive.
Please, I’m begging you. Stop following women that tell you not to follow them. Stop following women that don’t listen to your catcalls. Stop following women.
This is the third time this week that a friend of mine is calling me, terrified.
