@Jon_Mackenzie There is a YouTube video somewhere of Arteta teaching some youtubers(f2 guys maybe?) how to finish and he talks about how Aguero taught him if you're going near post to always go high as the keeper can't get his hands up in time. I'll see if I can find the link.
Endless sneering cynicism and online troll culture might be exactly what some people want. And that's why Jamie has a job giving his opinion. But it's absolute dogshit. And I think more and more people know it's dogshit.
@extralifeG@dazjamescarter@jamesbenge Rewatch the game and compare touch maps and you'll realise you are wrong. It was a low quality game played between both boxes with one moment of brilliance.
Any critique of Arteta playing a cagey gameplan would have to be levelled at Slot, who did the same — except with all his best players, at Anfield. Anything else is post hoc fallacy.
@dazjamescarter@jamesbenge Was Liverpool 'playing for a draw' as well then? They didn't get a touch inside Arsenal's box for 49mins and scored from an unbelievable 30yrd free kick. I agree Arteta should open up a bit more generally but you can't knock his 'top 6' record in the past few seasons.
