This is Risk. President Trump just made a huge board move.

He locked in a permanent security agreement with Denmark and Greenland with no expiration date. Permanent U.S. basing and overflight rights. The ability to build additional military installations as needed. China, Russia, and other adversaries blocked from bases, troops, or sensitive investment without U.S. written approval at no cost to the United States.

In Risk, you do not win by stacking every army on one square. You win by taking the continent that cannot be flanked.

Greenland is the top of the Western Hemisphere. Missiles, ships, satellites, the Arctic route, the back door to North America. Whoever holds that ice holds the high ground over the Atlantic and the polar approach.

LEVERAGE can do wonders, especially when you also control the world’s reserve currency and the entire central bank financial system.
Bessent has clearly demonstrated that he is in full control of the world’s financial debt system. He controls the levers of power, not Europe.

But there’s another reason why Denmark and the EU quietly caved.

Trump holds LEVERAGE in another area that he wields against world leaders in the background.

DECLASS.

Trump knows all about their corruption. Trump knows how they have profited by stealing taxpayers money and stashing it in offshore bank accounts and shell companies.
Trump knows how they profit from wars and sanctions with no real teeth.

Trump just gives them a choice.
They always talk tough at first, but then they quietly capitulate.
